Book 1

This past year I've had difficulty getting into writing new stuff. So, instead, I've toyed with updating older works and bringing them back out into the world again--shiny and new. Sort of. I've also targeted several unfinished projects to finish this year. Let's see how the rest of the year rolls.

Earlier, I shared that I revised Book 1 in my Parker Ranches, Inc. western romance series, The Rancher's Second Chance. I added Abby's POV (point-of-view) and fleshed out several scenes/chapters in the book, giving a bit more meat to the story. If you haven't read this book, it's FREE at all retailers, so it's a great entry into the series. Grab yours today!

Now, I have two new projects to share with you. Book 2 in the Parker Ranches, Inc. series, is Callie Rankin's story. In The Rancher's Second Chance, Callie was a rebellious eleven-year-old little girl who was missing her Mama and not sure where her place was in the family. Seventeen years later, Callie gets her own book and tells her grown-up story.

Book 2
Revised and lengthened, tossing an old love interest into the mix, Callie finds the Manhattan business woman torn between Montana and New York. Will she stay on the ranch or head back to the city? Readers find the scenes with Callie and her siblings both angsty and touching as they deal with their father's tragic accident—not to mention the possibility of a reunited love relationship.

If you've not read Callie, you can find this new version at any ebook retailer. (Please note, the print book has not been updated yet, so hold off if you prefer print.)

And bonus! While revising Callie, I decided to write a short novella bonus story about Callie's wedding. Readers are enjoying this story, as well!

It’s the day before Callie Rankin’s wedding to Murphy Reynolds, and he, for one, cannot wait to get a ring on Callie’s finger.

Bonus Story!

Murphy has loved Callie since she was a teenager. The plans are in place—venue, minister, flowers, photographer, caterer and more. Murphy waited a decade for Callie to come home, and he never really thought she would come around to loving him—but she did.

Callie can’t believe how everything fell together so quickly. After the horror of her father’s accident and his death, and her rush home to be with family, she never expected to fall in love with the cowboy she left behind years earlier.

But here they are, getting married tomorrow. And while she and her best friend Kris have seen to every detail, outside circumstances suddenly toss stumbling blocks in their way from every direction. Will Callie and Murphy get past these hurdles and finally get married, after all? Or will they have to post-pone their happily-ever-after?
